Inside The FYBERTECH Brand
Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, there floats a huge island of debris the size of Rhode Island. It is located roughly from 135°W to 155°W and 35°N to 42°N. A high percentage of this debris is plastic, including countless plastic straws. A similar patch can be found in the Atlantic Ocean. At Fiberly ECO, stories like this are what inspired us to create an eco-friendly alternative. Our manufacturing facilities were already tooled for paper straws, and we boosted our capacities there, we also discovered the emerging plant fiber technology. |
Using bamboo plant fibers, we found we could create not just 100% disposable straws but also single-use plates, cups, bowls and utensils. That is how we developed Fibertech, the plant fiber alternative that can reduce landfills and minimize plastic debris fields in the earth’s oceans.
Why plant fiber? First, as a bamboo product, it is not just biodegradable but renewable. So when clients need a disposable product to withstand heat or liquid longer than paper, plant fiber does the job perfectly. It comes from the earth, and returns again. Over and over.
